
Walking into a new gym can be hard. We make it easy.
Whether you’ve trained BJJ for years or this is your first time on the mats, we want to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Once you contact us, we’ll schedule a time to get you in the gym before your first class. You’ll see the gym, meet the coach, and sign any waivers you haven’t already handled.
So what do you need to do?
A couple things to keep in mind before your first class.
Come in clean workout clothes. We’ll provide a gi for you on your first day.
Trim your finger and toe nails and remove any jewelry.
Footwear must be worn when off the mats.
Have fun and listen to your body. Jiu-jitsu is hard and no one is an expert their first day. Go at a pace you feel comfortable and do not hesitate to take a break if you need it.
