Our Classes
Whether your new to jiu-jitsu or have years on the mats we have classes for every level of student. We pride ourselves on the strong foundation we build for our students and are confident we can help you reach your goals.
Morning Gi
A hybrid type class combining solid fundamentals with more advanced technique. Designed to run independent of the other classes, so even if advanced classes are not attended students will obtain a well rounded depth of knowledge.
Fundamentals
A beginner course that runs on an 18 week repeating cycle. The positions shown will always be the same in the 18 week cycle however techniques will vary cycle to cycle. This is a slower paced class designed to introduce students to the major movements, positions, and concepts of jiu-jitsu.
Stand up Fundamentals
A beginner course designed to introduce students to the standing aspects of bjj including both takedowns and guard pulls. A slow pace class with emphasis on position and winning grip battles. This class is typically precevied as higher effort then our fundamentals class due to the nature of the stand up game.
No Gi
An all skill levels class with a higher emphasis on wrestling, scrambles, and leg locks. We learn how to adapt our style to the no gi game while still maintaining strong fundamentals.
Advanced Gi
Intented for students who have completed one compete cycle of the fundamentals circulum. This class builds on the fundamental techniques while adding more complex movements and positions. A typically faster paced class compared to the fundamentals as students are expected to have a basic understanding of the core movements and terminology of jiu jitsu.
Kids Jiu Jitsu
A class designed for all skill levels with a heavier focus on self defense. This class uses a combination of games and instruction to convey techniques in a fun fast paced environment. Children gain confidence in both themselves and their ability to defend themselves.
